1st haircut
Saturday was the big day - sad to see the curls go, but happy that Patrick no longer has hair in his eyes. Patrick got his first haircut which I think did not come soon enough. For the past few weeks he has been referred to as a girl whenever we are out. At the hairdresser even, we walked in and got "oh what a beautiful girl!". So, for now his curls are gone but at least they will grow back. And now there is no hiding those chubby cheeks!
Visit to Richmond
Last week we all went down to Richmond, VA for a memorial service for my grandmother. It was a reunion of sorts as all of my first cousin Prices were there as well as numerous first cousins of my mother's. Here are a few pictures from the trip.
Patrick is not much of a sleeper on the plane. In fact he has gotten to the point where he falls asleep as we land at our destination.
Dyer, one my cousins, was fabulous with him and he loved playing with her. Unfortunately, she lives in OR. However, when he is old enough I figure he can go out there and work at her coffeeshop for the summer, muddyscoffeehouse.Thank heavens my aunt and uncle had toys. Patrick practiced walking with the help of a pram, and his silver shoes!
I tried to get a picture of all three little cousins, but with ages 3.5, 1.5 and 1 it was impossible. So, the next best thing was to get one of siblings Kathryn and Teddy.
